The main objective of this research is to contribute to the comprehensive water management of the 21st century for the city of Cali, Colombia, specifically focusing on the Cali River basin through a scaled approach within the city. This journey starts from the municipality as a whole, covering relevant aspects of the Cali River watershed, and down to the neighborhood level. The analysis will be carried out through the study of urban projects and experiences that address issues related to flooding in urban areas and water as a productive opportunity, associated with urban centers, while also converging on the recovery, management, and awareness of water. Ultimately, the aim is to establish synergy between these sectoral issues in the San Vicente neighborhood for the benefit of the community.
Monitoring Methodology and Indicator SetThis document outlines the proposed methodology for drafting a set of indicators applicable to the Action Plan of the Alto Tajo Municipalities Association. Additionally, Annex 1 includes a provisional proposal of indicators, representing a selection of the standard indicators proposed in the Spanish Urban Agenda.

This article examines watersensitive design, fostering a synergy between thehydrological cycle and urban planning under the concept ofWater Sensitive Cities. Through the case studies ofKronsberg in Hannover and Augustenborg in Malmö, it isdemonstrated how integrated stormwater managementand the adaptation of urban morphology to thehydrological cycle provide viable solutions, supported bothinstitutionally and academically. This article exploresintegrated stormwater management strategies thatcombine recreational, functional, and aesthetic benefits,showing that such approaches not only enhance urbanstructure but also create attractive and safe environmentsfor the community.
